Speakers:
Na’ama Carlin (she/her) is a Senior Lecturer (Education Focussed) in Sociology and Social Sciences, at UNSW.
Na’ama will talk about writing motivation, submitting a book proposal based on your PhD, the value of public writing, and the importance of community support.
Kate Rossmanith (she/her) is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow and an Associate Professor in cultural studies and creative writing at Macquarie University. Kate will talk about the practice of writing hybrid nonfiction, and the challenges and affordances associated with developing an effective narrating presence.
